My Journey
I am a London-based author, educator, and entrepreneur, writing contemporary fiction that explores the human experience through character-driven stories.
I grew up in Northwest London and studied English Literature at Royal Holloway before completing an MA in Linguistics at UCL’s Institute of Education. I began my career as a secondary school English teacher and later worked with the Ministry of Education in the Middle East.
I have always had a love for writing but due to work and family constraints found it difficult to make time for craft. During the COVID lockdown of 2021, that all changed and I began writing my first official novel. 5 years later, while juggling work, an Ecoms business and family life, I am finally ready to share it with the world.
Often grounded in modern settings, my writing focuses on identity, the choices that shape our lives, and an attempt at capturing the zeitgeist of a particular time and the experience of living through it.
A Time to Live is my debut novel, and I’m currently working on my second novel, The Blackout.
When I’m not stuck in the grind, I enjoy jumping on a bike and riding across the city, exploring London in all its glory.
